The Houston Latin Jazz Orchestra features some of Houston’s best Latin jazz artists. These musicians represent the rich heritage of the Latin American countries and the fusion of these cultures with the American lifestyle. The Houston Latin Jazz Ensemble is dedicated to cultivating the rich history of Latin jazz. It is committed to sharing the authentic narrative of the sources and the legendary influential composers and musicians of the genre. Houston Latin Jazz Ensemble strongly believes in mentoring young musicians, helping them develop a historical perspective of the music and developing the artistry that will allow them to carry the music forward.
